Learn about our half marathon program
-
This program is for people who can comfortably run 10KM and want to train to run a half marathon (21.1KM) without injury, feeling strong, and either run to completion, using a walk/run interval, or to a goal time for a half marathon race
-
This program includes in-person meet ups twice a week (Tuesdays at 6PM and Sundays at 9AM) in Clarington, 14-weeks of running programming, weekly strength and mobility exercises, running tips & tricks, nutrition and hydration advice, recipes for pre and post-runs and injury prevention and maintenance.
-
The program is 14 weeks of training, meetings twice a week as a group to run and ends on Sunday May 4th. Our group’s goal run will be the Georgina Spring Fling where we will be racing as a group.
-
Once you purchase your training program, a few things will happen:
1. You’ll receive a PDF training guide and e-book with all of the workouts and explanations and information you’ll ever need
2. Inside the e-book are instructions to join our private WhatsApp group where we share run meet-ups, routes, ask questions and encourage each other
3. You’ll receive instructions to join our Strava group ‘Clarington Run Club’ to see what your teammates are up to
4. Further updates and questions will all be answered in our private WhatsApp group where you have access to the entire support team! -
That’s totally fine! Our private WhatsApp group will post weekly routes and members can coordinate alternate meet up times amongst themselves! The group provides accountability for all and after attending a few runs, you’ll find your pace buddies and can hold each other accountable in your training!
