Clarington’s wellness hub for the entire family.

We’ve created an inclusive community for everyone. From infant chiropractic, paediatric physiotherapy, pelvic floor physiotherapy, perinatal care, orthopaedic physiotherapy, massage therapy and chiropractic. We support you along the entire lifespan with education, movement and fitness, empowerment and most importantly, fun!

A safe space where individuals feel empowered, heard, and supported in their journey back to health, performance, and everyday wellness!

We hold deep value in movement and exercise as our strongest modality for rehabilitation.

Physiotherapy

Our team is here to educate & empower the recreational athlete, desk worker, or those who want to improve movement and reduce pain. We’re here to work with you in improving longevity in fitness and in everyday life through 1:1 and small group physiotherapy classes.

Physiotherapy can diagnose your injuries or pain, find the underlying cause, and create progressive plan to meet your goals. Want to kneel on the floor and play with your grandkids? Want to play beer league hockey and be able to walk the next day? We’ve got you.

Some conditions physiotherapy can help with:

  • Chronic pain

  • Decreased range of motion in joints

  • Arthritic changes

  • Limited strength/feeling “weak”

  • Tightness/stiffness in muscles and joints

Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic care is effective for treating musculoskeletal pain, dysfunction, and specialized concerns including post-concussion rehab, vertigo, prenatal care, infant care and wellness.

You spine holds your nervous system which controls every organ and every function in your body. With every adjustment, you are re-aligning the pathway of communication between your brain and your body.

You’re balancing your nervous system and improving your body’s overall health. Chiropractic care can remove roadblocks and guide your body back on track. We do the adjustments and your body does the healing.

Chiropractic care can help to improve:

  • Back and neck pain and immobility

  • Headaches, migraines, vertigo, concussion symptoms, dizziness

  • Chronic pain

  • Issues in extremities (shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, ankles)

Pelvic Health Physiotherapy

Pelvic health is for women along their entire lifespan - from painful periods to pregnancy and postpartum to menopause and beyond.

It’s never too early or too late to be introduced to your pelvic floor and see the benefits of being in tune with it and understanding its functions and anatomy.

Pelvic health can help with:

  • Pregnancy and preparing for birth

  • Postpartum, as early as 4 weeks

  • Re-entering fitness after baby

  • Peeing with coughing, sneezing, jumping, etc.

  • Pelvic, vulvar, back and hip pain

  • Transitioning into and through menopause

  • Feelings of heaviness between your legs

  • Endometriosis, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, PMS symptoms

Prenatal & Infant Chiropractic Care

Infant chiropractic care uses gentle manual therapy and techniques, education for caregivers and tissue work to address:

  • Torticollis and neck tightness/restriction

  • Difficulty latching

  • Feeding side preference

  • Hip dysplasia

  • Brachial plexus injury

  • Birth trauma or vacuum/forceps trauma

  • Muscle hypertonicity

Expect a thorough discussion, assessment, movement screening and goal-setting to not only understand your child’s concerns but also create a plan of action and long-term solutions that may include:

  • Home lifestyle strategies to implement with the family

  • Manual hands-on therapy

  • Biomechanics assessment and cueing

Clinical Pilates Program

Clinical Pilates is an adaptation of traditional Pilates and is covered under the scope of Physiotherapy.

It is supervised by a physiotherapist who is also a certified Pilates teacher and can be the perfect tool to strengthen and prevent or rehabilitate injuries.

Clinical Pilates also focuses on movement biomechanics, breathing patterns and on postural education to prevent future injury.

Many of the basic principles of Pilates align with what research suggests to be an integral part of improving various health conditions including chronic low back pain, osteoarthritis, neurological conditions, sports injuries, and more. A physiotherapist closely assesses a patient’s mechanics and scales exercises to better prevent injuries.

We offer Small Group Clinical Pilates Classes and 1:1 Clinical Pilates Treatment Sessions.
